Screen Cuba sales - Poster: Elpidio Valdes - A la Manigua by Juan Padron

This year Screen Cuba gave a special place to the work of Cuban director Juan Padrón (1947-2020), the island’s revered godfather of animation. We are able to offer these original screen prints of his most famous character of children's cartoons, Elpidio Valdes, who was a fictional Mambi fighter against the Spanish colonial powers in Cuba and always wins against the odds in some hilarious way.
